Inspired by other people’s /uses/ pages, here’re some unsorted lists of things I use, things I prefer, things that are important to my workflow, and/or just plain cool:

• Monitor: LG 32GK650F-B 32” (not a great dev pick, but good dual-purpose dev/gaming monitor)
  • Attached to a AmazonBasics monitor arm
• Dock: CalDigit TS3 Plus
• Security key: YubiKey 5C Nano (and older spares)
• Desk: UPLIFT 60x30 adjustable standing desk

• Editors: Sublime Text, Visual Studio Code (I value ST4’s speed over VSCode’s plugin ecosystem)
• Terminal: iTerm2
• API testing: Paw, Postman
• FTP: Transmit
• Tasks: Things
• Notes: Obsidian
• Adobe Suite: The Whole Dang Adobe Suite (but mostly just Photoshop/Illustrator)

• JavaScript: Turbo, Stimulus, Vue, and good ol’ jQuery
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis
• eCommerce: Shopify
• Web servers: NGINX, Apache, Caddy
• MVC: Ruby on Rails, Flask, Zend

• Serverless: CloudFlare Workers stack (specifically KV, Durable Objects, and R2)
